Founder and President
Liberté Caravans was founded in 2019 by Eric Bazinet in Embrun, Ontario. To this date, Eric still has this vision.
"I envision Liberté as a driving factor in helping Canadians live longer and healthier lives by enabling year-round activities and inspiring travel experiences. I believe that by offering an affordable caravan that is warm and comfortable for all seasons, Canadians will be able to live their best lives."

1997
Eric, founder, graduates as mechanical engineer in Ottawa, Ontario
2001
Eric leads engineering teams for architectural, mechanical, structural and electrical engineering on radar sites in Canadian arctic

2005
Eric builds his first trailer - Pleinair, a super lightweight composite teardrop trailer

2010
Eric rebuilds a 1962 vintage Airstream Overlander and designs it for winter conditions

2019
Eric launches Liberté Caravans

Liberté hires Gibson Product Design to support preliminary sketches
Hires gibson product design to support preliminary design

2020
A conceptual design is selected for first prototype

2020
Eric buys a property for its future manufacturing building in the Innovation Business Park in Limoges, Ontario

2021
Prototype 1 is complete
2021
Eric receives building permit for the construction of its 4,000 sq.ft. building in limoges, ontario.

2022
From the testing of its first prototype, a second prototype
is designed and fabricated

2023
From the learning of its second protopye, Eric designs a new lightweight arctic caravan

2024
Construction of a new fabrication facility and showroom

Official launch of Liberté Caravans at its new facility

SNØ, the Arctic Carvan is completed and a series of public events are held
